The company's performance data reveals a strategic approach centered on substantial network improvements and customer-focused service delivery, under the leadership of Group CEO Engineer Raphael Mushanawani.
The cornerstone of NetOne's Q2 strategy was an unprecedented expansion of its telecommunications infrastructure. The company spearheaded industry growth by installing *224 new LTE base stations*, demonstrating a clear commitment to delivering enhanced high-speed internet services to its customer base. This ambitious LTE rollout was supported by the addition of *108 new 3G sites*, ensuring comprehensive coverage across diverse geographic areas. The company also strengthened its foundational network with *5 additional 2G stations* while making strategic investments in *5G infrastructure* to prepare for future technological demands.
Engineer Mushanawani emphasized the customer-driven nature of these investments, explaining that the company's core mission remains focused on delivering exceptional service quality. NetOne recorded a *2.73% increase in voice traffic volume*, reaching *521,361,797 total minutes* during the quarter. This growth contributed to an expansion of the company's *market share in mobile voice services, which increased by 0.28 percentage points to reach 12.37%*. Additionally, the company's customer base continued its upward trajectory with *active mobile subscriptions growing by 0.22% to 3,987,105 users*.
