NetOne Leads Clean-Up Drive

Service provision entity, NetOne in partnership with the Harare City Council took part in the national clean-up campaign, the initiative, aligned with President Mnangagwa's "Zero Tolerance to Litter - My Environment, My Pride" declaration.

The participants cleaned the area from NetOne Kopje Plaza to Rowen Martins offices.

Netone Public Relations Officer, Mrs Rudo Vicente gave the address on behalf of the Group CEO Mr Rapheal Mushanawani as she highlighted the campaign's goal of creating a clean, secure, and healthy environment.  

She stressed that the collective effort would lay the foundation for a more sustainable future. 

Mrs Vicente also outlined key housekeeping rules for participants, emphasizing safety, teamwork, proper waste disposal, and environmental respect.

She urged participants to prioritize their safety by cautiously wearing appropriate attire and using cleaning tools.

Teamwork was also a crucial element, with participants encouraged to collaborate respectfully. 

Vicente emphasized the importance of proper waste disposal, urging everyone to use designated bins and follow waste segregation guidelines to facilitate recycling. 

Finally, she reminded participants to carefully handle plants and natural surroundings, preserving the area's beauty.

Mrs Vicente concluded her speech by thanking everyone for their dedication and participation, calling for continued collaboration to make a tangible difference in environmental cleanliness and community pride.

She emphasized the importance of working together for the well-being of the environment, not just for the day, but for the future.
