The minibus, procured through the generous contributions raised during a recent charity golf tournament, will serve as a vital tool for the Association's mission. The handover ceremony was marked by heartfelt speeches and expressions of gratitude. Speaking at the event, Potraz Director General Dr G. K. Machengete emphasized the importance of community-driven initiatives and the power of collective action. He thanked the numerous partners who participated in the golf tournament and made the donation possible, including Econet Wireless, Liquid Intelligent Technologies, University of Zimbabwe, TelOne, Dark Fibre Africa, ZB Bank, ZIMPOST, Powertel Communications, Compulink, Telecontract, Fedex, and Dandemutande. The minibus will be used to transport individuals with disabilities to medical appointments, educational outings, community events, and other essential activities. It will enhance their mobility, independence, and opportunities for social integration. The Jairos Jiri Association expressed its deep appreciation for the generous donation, the minibus will significantly contribute to the organization's ability to provide vital services and support to individuals with disabilities. This event serves as a reminder of the positive impact that communities can have when they come together for a common cause. The minibus is more than just a vehicle; it is a symbol of hope, empowerment, and the spirit of community.
